Environmental Stresses on the Mississippi River
As with most major rivers these days, there are many environmental stresses on the Mississippi River. The main environmental stress on the Mississippi River is pollution. There are tons of garbage and harmful waste products dumped in the Mississippi River each year. This waste pollutes the water and kills many fish and other marine wildlife.
